My Glorious Vacation

We went for a long weekend to Destin, FL. It was our first "real" vacation since Wesley was born four years ago. Not to say we haven't left home for these last four years, we just haven't gone anywhere together that didn't involve visiting and/or staying with our amazing friends and family. There is something altogether different and bonding about holing up in a hotel with your own family unit. It was a memorable time, complete with putt-putt golf. The beach was amazing, the weather could not have been more perfect, and the company was premium. This Thanksgiving, I am brimming with thankfulness. I am overwhelmed with the blessings God has given me through my husband and children. Marc and I have been together for almost 13 years, and while it is not always easy, he remains the most amazing gift God has ever given me. I'm sure every mother feels the same way, but my kids are THE BEST little people I know, and I'm so lucky to be their mother. What else can I say besides "Thanks God!"

I am so happy for you guys! Not only for getting to have a vacation together, but also for all of your blessings over the years. You are always in my prayers and I hope that God will only continue to bless you!

It is such an encouragement to me to see how you respond to God's blessings. You are not only thankful, but acknowledge Him as the source. I know the times with "my little family unit" were the best memories I have. I'm glad you are journaling (blogging) them for future reference. It is always encouraging to look back and see the ways God has blessed us and how we have all grown. I love you. Tatee
