Strike out
Confession time: I watch a fair amount of TV. I don't want to say a lot. That may be true, but I don't want to say it. The writer's strike is rocking my world. Here we are in the prime mid-season. The story lines are beginning to arc. The build-up towards the finale is becoming evident. It is just getting good. [insert screeching-needle-on-record-player sound effect] Now, I have learned (from my best friends husband who read it on Yahoo.com) that even if the strike ended tomorrow, there won't be time to film new episodes to air this season. TRAGEDY! Add to that the fact that the award shows are all no-shows. All that is left is the occasional trickle of a new episode that the networks have had hidden in the can and [UGH!] reality TV. What's a girl supposed to do....read? Please, give the writer's whatever they want--just give me back my Grey's Anatomy!
