I'm not sure why I'm doing this

I would like to begin by saying I am terribly under qualified to be writing my own blog. I don't know what these supposed qualifications are, but I am certain that I do not have them. My beautifully supportive and encouraging husband of almost nine years (yes, I did say nine!) has refuted my claims of being uninteresting, untalented, unartistic (I'm aware that this is not a word, but I'm trying to stick with the un- thing), and just generally un-bloggy (also, not a word). Well, we will see....I will write about the things I know. Isn't that what they say to do? Here's what I know so far: I'm a Christian; I'm a wife; I'm a mother; I'm a nurse; I may be any number of other things that I have yet to discover. Who knows, I may even be a blogger. So, thus begins my underground effort, and I will call it Diary of a Sane White Momma (reference: Diary of a Mad Black Woman). I'm not sure the name will stick, but that is all I've come up with so far (see, clearly under qualified!). Who knows, maybe someday I'll be like Perez Hilton (nah, too bitchy), and my blog will be famous! Then, people will come back to this--my very first post--and say, "Her husband was right. This blog is awesome." To which I will say, fine, take his side.
